Greetings! My name is Elaina Dumaliang, and it was not long ago when I went to Arushi with the idea of MiddleMUN not believing it would happen. However, here we are, moving onto our second iteration of our Model UN Camp! I would never be able to do this without the insanely organized and gorgeous Arushi Keshwani, whom I'm beyond excited to have started this project with. I started my MUN journey this year as a freshman, but my dream is to allow middle schoolers to get a running start with Model UN without barriers like costs. 

Model UN is an amazing opportunity for middle schoolers to improve their writing, research, and public speaking skills, and we at MiddleMUN believe that every child should have access to an opportunity like this. Through MUN, I have learned how to write a nuanced, well-researched paper and how to survive the application and interview process. I hope everyone attending MiddleMUN this year can gain the same life-changing skills I have this summer!
